As Paul opens his letter to the Colossians, he greets them with grace and peace from God our Father. He desires to see them growing in maturity, being filled with the knowledge of God's will, walking in a manner fully pleasing to God, being strengthened for endurance and giving thanks. The grace and peace of God means that they have already begun to fulfil these desires - but there is more to come for them. Is there more for us? Will we settle for comfort - or strike out for more and ever more of God?
